Thursday Night At Ken's

Typically, Ken's auctions are on Friday night, but every once in a while he has Thursday night auctions.  This was a "clean out" of sorts.  He has a lot of items come in for auction, typically full household's at a time, and it's hard to get through everything in a single Friday night auction.  So to help with the left overs, he will hold random Thursday night auctions to help finish up selling the items he didn't get to the weeks before.  For Thursday nights, he rearranges his set up and sales from the floor, rather than from up on his bench.  It's a more intimate setting with a smaller audience.

We picked up some great treasures!  We got this great jewelry casket, I think it's by Matson.  It is lined with velvet and the beveled glass on top is in great shape.
We also picked up this great vintage Eagle gas can. It is made in the U.S.A of galvanized steel.

The true treasure of the nigh was this vintage Golde Blower Cooled Manumatic Slide Projector. The power cord is in great shape and turns on and blows great.  We didn't have any slides to try it out on but it powered up on the first try. The lid turns over and has a hidden storage compartment.

We also picked up some extra large frames, a tall book shelf, some primitive kitchen items, vintage tins, old fabric/pillowcases/tablecloths and  some baskets and tray holders.

Ken has weekly auctions and his listings can always be found on our "Auctions & Events" page or by going to his listing page on AuctionZip.com. He has a noteworthy auction coming up in June.  Some items that will be auctioned off at this sale include a rare graded $10K dollar bill, some items from Tiffany's, a 1969 Jaguar, signed authentic presidential memorabilia and many other amazing items.  We will be doing a full write up soon on the entire auction listing.

Tomorrow MVA will be setting up again at Mae Farm.  It is located on HWY 71B between Fayetteville and Springdale in the open field area by Lewis & Clark.  The NWA Farmer's Market vendors will be there and we will set up a small sale there with them.  The items listed above will be for sale there, along with some other items we have picked up recently.  It's supposed to be a hot gorgeous weekend. Hope to see you out.

Happy Friday!
Casey
