Good Morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I took off
work on Thursday and Friday for Spring Break. If your reading this from
NWA you know there wasn't much spring around these past few days. It
snowed Thursday and Sunday. I hope spring gets here soon!
So Thursday before the snow started falling, Jim and I
took a trip down to Prairie Grove. Our first stop was at Timeless
Treasures at 405 N. Pittman. This was our first visit here. Nothing
was priced, so we had the pleasure of negoatiating with Vencient on all
the items we were interested in. We picked up a nice set of Federal
Glass mugs and some great old wooden brackets that we are going to use
to make a door shelf.
When we left Timeless Treasures, we went down to The Locals on Buchanan. This shop had some great Shabby Chic booths!
Daisy's & Olives was our last stop in Prairie Grove.
Here they are on FACEBOOK!
Friday night we
went to Ken's Auction in Springdale. I have never in my life seen so
many Coca Cola products in one location. They had so much stuff they
had tables stacked on top of tables to display it all. It was awesome!
We arrived at 4:00 for the preview and didn't leave till
after midnight. It was really fun getting to see all of those authentic
Coca Cola items. We picked up a couple Coca Cola items and some other
treasures! We picked up this vintage flour sifter and cute blue and
pink dishes.
We also
got this cut glass cream and sugar set and this cute Bambi powder box.
The box was manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Co. during the 1930's
to 50's in five different designs - deer, scotty dog, elephant, donkey
and poodle. They were also manufactured in different colored glass -
clear, iridescent gold and pink.
We also picked up this egg plate, Coca Cola mirror and red army foot locker.

Sunday
we went to Don Guthery's at their new location in Springdale. It is a
great new facility. We didn't buy anything but we were happy we stopped
by to check out their great new location.
Hope your weekend was great and that you got to see a little bit of spring!
XOXO
Casey
